CLARK Material Handling Company Announces Two New Models of the GEN2 Series Forklift Trucks

CLARK Material Handling Company, a worldwide supplier of forklift trucks, has announced the release of two additional models of its popular GEN2 series of forklift trucks.  Available in either a pneumatic tire or cushion tire configuration, these new models are available in capacities of 3,000 lbs., 3,500 lbs and 4,000 lbs.  These models are designed for use in a wide range of applications including distribution, manufacturing, and warehousing.  Like all CLARK products, these trucks are "Built to Last".

Upright options for both pneumatic and cushion models include Standard, Triple Stage, and Hi-Lo in a wide range of heights.  The engine for the LPG models is the proven Mitsubishi 4G63 and is EPA 2004 compliant.  Diesel models are equipped with Yanmar 2.2 liter, 4 cylinder EPA 2004 compliant engines.

The GEN2 family of trucks incorporates many of the proven components of previous CLARK models.  These durable features include:

  • Mitsubishi 4G63 engine featuring internal balancers, cast iron deep skirt block, hydraulic valve lifters and electronic ignition
  • CLARK TA-12 transaxle- featuring easily accessible test ports, electrically controlled direction control, full reversing, full floating drive axles and drum/shoe brakes
  • CLARK designed, high visibility uprights, overhead guards, and load backrests
  • Advanced operator cell that ensures operator safety and comfort
  • Two-pedal, inch brake system for precise truck control
  • CLARK operator restraint system with safety seat and seat belt
  • Integral hydraulic tank with easy to service in-tank filter
  • Truck comes equipped with the CLARK Monitoring and Shutdown system which controls various systems including engine, transmission, and cooling components
  • Uprights feature CLARK designed C-channel outer rails and I-section inner rails as well as canted rollers, six main rollers, hydraulic cushioning, self-aligning spherical bushings and intergral flow limiting valves
  • Brakes are self energizing, hydraulic-actuated drum and shoe design that incorporate heavy cast iron brake shoes, backing plates and drums, do not require axle removal for service and feature CLARK’s two pedal system for inching and braking

Optional equipment for the GEN2 model family includes auxiliary valves, hose adaptations, tire compounds, sideshifters, turn signals, backup alarm, strobes, various seat options, mirrors, convenience console, air cleaner safety element and more.

Designed and manufactured at CLARK’s ISO-9001 certified plant, GEN2 models conform to all North American requirements.  All LPG models are U.L. listed and comply with ANSI B56.1 specifications.  All models are supported by CLARK Aftermarket Parts, including CLARK Genuine OEM parts and CLARK PartsPRO on-line technical support.
