HYSTER COMPANY OFFERS AC-POWER J30-40ZT SERIES OF THREE-WHEEL LIFT TRUCKS

GREENVILLE, NC, United States
Monday, 25 Apr 2005
The Hyster® J30-40ZT three-wheel lift truck series, with capacities from 3000lbs (1360kg) to 4000lbs (1814kg), combines brushless AC technology from Hyster Company with unprecedented maneuverability to create a series that makes it easier than ever to get around bulging aisles and congested loading bays.

The rugged J30-40ZT series has an exceptionally long service life due to the Hyster brushless AC traction and steer motors that eliminate motor brushes, commutators and contactors. An optional transistor controlled hoist motor completes the configuration to reduce time required for maintenance, allowing operators more time behind the wheel. An on-board diagnostics display significantly reduces downtime by allowing service technicians to pinpoint issues quickly.

Several features combine to make the J30-40ZT series so easily navigable. Precision rack-and-pinion hydrostatic steering facilitates low-effort steering control to reduce driver fatigue. Large cushion rubber tires and a double-action steer cylinder make for a smoother, more comfortable ride and increase responsiveness without increasing power consumption. Dual, independently controlled transaxles transfer power to the pavement quietly and efficiently, while tractive power is given to each drive motor in proportion to steer angle. This allows increased traction even in full reverse on tight turns – which is especially beneficial on slippery floors.

The best overall visibility available comes standard on the J30-40ZT series with the exclusive Hyster® VISTA® mast, which features widely spaced mast channels and a low-cowl design that afford a clear line of vision to the fork tips. The grid-style overhead guard provides a superior view of forks and loads, easing load placement and retrieval while increasing operator safety. The truck’s powerful hydraulic system cushioning smoothes VISTA mast transition during lifting and lowering, and the mast’s simplified "J" hook mounting enables easy installation or removal – without requiring access to the bottom of the truck.

Hyster Company is one of the world’s leading manufacturers and marketers of lift trucks. The Hyster line includes more than 130 models designed for a wide variety of applications, from pallet moving to container handling. With North American headquarters in Greenville, N.C., Hyster Company is world-renowned for its quality and leading edge approach to technology and ergonomics. As a leader in the materials handling industry, Hyster Company has been ISO 9001-2000 certified for their documented quality manufacturing processes.
