CLARK Material Handling Company Unveils New Headquarters


LEXINGTON, KY, United States

CLARK Material Handling Company has announced the opening of its new Worldwide Headquarters. These dedicated facilities will house sales & marketing, finance, customer service engineering, aftermarket service & support, engineering, ISD, research & development, product showroom, and manufacturing. Included in the main building is a 5,200 square foot product show room, a technical training room and a multipurpose room that seats 100 people.  This facility was designed with dealer and customer training a CLARK priority. The main building is 100,000 square feet and a second building is 52,000 square feet.

Employment in Lexington is expected to increase by over 50% within the next few years, particularly in the area of research, development, engineering and logistics. Total investment in building, equipment and renovations is estimated at $6.3 million.

Brian Butler, President & CEO of CLARK Material Handling Company said, "We believe this facility represents a significant milestone for CLARK. Our aim is to provide world-class products, services and after the sale support. This facility provides a strong platform for that goal." Butler also noted, "We have a facility we believe our dealers and customers will benefit from utilizing in the sales process, the technical service support for their customer and the continual training of their technical support employees as well as the training of customer personnel".

CLARK’s aftermarket parts distribution facility in Louisville, Kentucky is unaffected by this move. Effective immediately CLARK’s address is 700 Enterprise Drive, Lexington, Kentucky, 40510.

An industry leader since it invented the first material handling truck in 1917; CLARK has built more than one million forklifts during its over 100 year history. CLARK supplies a full line of electric and internal combustion forklifts, narrow aisle forklifts, electric pallet jacks, stackers, and electric tuggers. Additionally, CLARK offers order pickers and pallet jacks. CLARK products are distributed and supported through a network of over 550 dealer locations worldwide.
