CeMAT visitors can learn about the technology leader's range of products on
Stand L09 in Hall 26. Fronius is expanding the successful Selectiva range to include several new models in the 2 kW and 3 kW power categories. Designed for use with traction batteries with a voltage of 24 or 48 volts and, these battery charging systems - like the rest of the range - are equipped with the innovative Ri charging process. This process minimises overcharging, which otherwise causes a high level of energy loss and heats up the battery with detrimental effects. The user therefore benefits from an extended battery life and increased availability.
Fronius has also developed the "Cool Battery Guide Easy" information and management system - a solution for optimum utilisation of the battery pool. A control unit combined with LED strips on each individual battery charging system indicate which battery has been fully charged for the longest, intuitively guiding the user to the correct battery. This ensures that every battery is used equally and has enough time to cool down. Fuel cells developed by Fronius will also be on display on the exhibition stand, as well as lithium-ion solutions. Both systems have huge potential for use as future drive solutions in the intralogistics sector.
