Full-body harness

The use of forklifts to elevate personnel is a common practice in many workplaces. There are several different types of fall protection systems to choose from, like a forklift cage or a basket. But for increased protection and mobility TVH recommends using a full-body harness. This type of fall protection system holds a worker in place or restricts movement to prevent falls while allowing a hands-free work environment at elevated heights.

1 LED Blue Spotlight

TVH helps promote pedestrian safety by offering a variety of safety lights. One of the newest is the Blue LED Spotlight. The Blue LED Spotlight provides a highly visible blue warning light to alert pedestrians of approaching machinery before it's heard in the warehouse environment. When the Blue LED Spotlight is mounted to a forklift it projects a highly concentrated blue beam on the floor or ground 5 meters (16 feet) in front of the machine. This bright blue spotlight on the floor is clearly visible to pedestrians and other vehicles in the area, regardless of the surrounding noise level.

4 LED Blue Spotlight

TVH offers three different Blue LED Spotlights, in 4, 2 and 1 LED options, to best fit your needs. Their versatile and compact design makes it easy to mount on the front or back of the vehicle. The 1 LED Blue Spotlight has a 20,000 hour lifetime and features a sharped-edge spot light. The 2 LED spotlight has a durable polycarbonate housing and its low profile allows for mounting in tight spaces. And finally the 4 LED Blue Spotlight has an automotive optical grade, hard-coated polycarbonate lens and produces 150 lumens. Its rugged die-cast aluminum housing makes it suitable to use on heavy duty machines.

Another essential safety product that no forklift should be without is a strobe warning light. TVH offers an extensive selection of strobes that are available in multiple colors, profiles and mounts to fit any make and model.

Meteorlight® Strobe Light

TVH's Meteorlight^® Strobe lights will help increase your forklift's visibility in high traffic work areas. These strobe lights have a sturdy polycarbonate lens for long lasting durability and are available in both low-profile and high-profile models. The Meteorlight^® Strobe light's mounting options include permanent, magnetic or pipe mount.

Safe-T-Alert,® Self Adjusting Alarm

In addition to warning lights, all forklifts should also be equipped with back-up alarms. To be most effective back-up alarms need to be around 10 decibels above the ambient noise of its surroundings. Since noise levels can vary depending on time of day or activity it can be difficult to select the right back-up alarm with the correct decibel level for your forklift. TVH has the solution with our Safe-T-Alert^® Self Adjusting Alarm. This back-up alarm listens to the ambient noise using a built in microphone and automatically adjusts its sound output to be louder than the surrounding noise.
