New to the RX70 family
Hamburg, GermanyStill GmbH has added two models to its RX70 family of forklifts.
The RX70-60/80 and RX70-40/50 models with load capacities from 4 to 8 T combine "precision, ergonomics and safety with a compact design".
The 1.6 m (5.3 ft.) wide truck enables heavy goods to be moved in aisles with a width under 5 m (16 ft.).
Engine trucks on display
Munich, GermanyJungheinrich will showcase its internal combustion engine trucks from its 6 model series with load capacities of 6 to 9 T at bauma 2013, opening on 15 April in Munich.
Manufactured at the Moosburg plant since the end of 2012, the trucks are suitable for transport and production-related tasks over medium to long distances, especially in the construction sector.
Another highlight at the Jungheinrich stand will be the unveiling of the new EFG 535-550, an electric counterbalance truck from the 5 model series. The company claims the truck provides "outstanding energy efficiency".
Konecranes launches TRUCONNECT
Hyvinkää, FinlandKonecranes has launched TRUCONNECT to monitor the usage of Konecranes forklifts via a remote connection.
Condition monitoring units in the trucks collect operating data and transmit it wirelessly to the Konecranes Remote Data Centre, where it is analysed and compiled in online reports, accessible through a customer portal.
The information can be used to improve fleet efficiency, productivity and safety.
New range of stackers
Almere, the NetherlandsCat Lift Trucks has introduced the Cat NSP10-16N2 range of pedestrian stackers.
Designed for short to medium distances, the trucks in 1.0, 1.2, 1.4 or 1.6 T capacities lift up to 5. 4 m (17.7 ft.) using a range of "high-strength masts that reduce load movement to an absolute minimum".
The company says the NSP10-16N2 have easy-to-use controls on its tiller arm and the latest AC drive technology.
