the MHT 10225. With a lifting capacity of 22,500kg and 10 meter lifting height Manitou is taking the market to the next level.
This new model is part of the MHT range which offers enhanced versatility and safety compared with cranes and forklifts. The ability to handle oversize loads as a forklift, instead of having to lift as a suspended load means less stability concerns than a crane, and when compared with a forklift the load management system and pre programmed loads charts for each attachment ensure that lifts are carried out in complete safety.
When it comes to versatility the MHT range can handle freely suspended loads either with a single hook system or it can be offered with a fully integrated winch system.
For the mining industry
Manitou offers specific attachments, such as tyre handlers for all size tyres, hub and strut handler, hydraulic cylinder handler, suspension strut handler etc.
With its patented concept and design the
cylinder handler Manitou CH10 saves mining companies thousands of dollars though the efficiency gains of the CH10, however the real gains are the safety benefits afforded by the Manitou CH10.
- SAFETY - Ability to positively grab cylinder so the load is no longer a freely suspended load with operators using guess work for balance point.
- PRECISION - The precision afforded by the remote control and proportional controls insures that the cylinder is handled with great precision and less risk damage.
- TIME - Reduction of the downtime of shovel and truck fleet that depend on the hydraulic excavator.
Other attachments offered byManitou include work platforms up to 1000kg all fully compliant with AS1418.10.
