Sydney Markets Case Study
Kleenheat Gas has revolutionised the forklift industry with one of the most technologically advanced facilities at Sydney Markets. The facility’s bowsers have replaced the traditional bleed filling method, minimising occupational health and safetyrisks.
The 24/7 facility also has video surveillance cameras and motion detection units, which identify forklifts moving into the filling area.
The forklift operator simply swipes the filling card located near the bowsers, enabling the operator to fill the forklift cylinder, similar to a vehicle at a service station. The card reader records the transaction and the user is billed at a later date. Operators are trained in small groups on the use of the new system, to ensure all safety measures and procedures are adhered to.
