ATTICA EQUIPMENT COMPLETES MORE LARGE DELIVERIES - TRADE UNITS NOW SELLING

COQUITLAM, Canada
Thursday, 25 Sep 2003
Attica Equipment Ltd. has delivered all 32 Kalmar forklifts in a five year, USD 3.85 million supply contract with Doman Industries. Attica Equipment Ltd. has also completed delivery of two other large orders for the 30,000 lbs. capacity Kalmar forklifts and attached to each deal Attica acquired trade units ranging from 1978 to the late 1990’s. These units are now available at wholesale prices for immediate worldwide delivery.

The 30,000 – pound capacity machines are already operating, following delivery from Kalmar’s Swedish manufacturing facility. The Doman deal is believed to be the largest deal in Canadian history, based on the number of machines ordered in this capacity range.

Under each of the contracts Attica Equipment Ltd. has acquired the existing units, ranging in age from 1978 to late 1990's models. These units are now available for immediate delivery worldwide at wholesale prices.

Attica Equipment continues to supply maintenance at non-staffed locations, and works with existing maintenance crews to maintain the Kalmar machines at other locations.

The ongoing Softwood Lumber dispute with the US continues to have a negative impact on forestry in both Canada and the US< but the Kalmar forklifts have made a significant impact in reducing maintenance costs.

Attica Equipment has been a dealer of forklifts and other machinery in Western Canada for 24 years. Product lines include Kalmar and TCM forklifts, Club Car golf & Industrial vehicles and Rol-lift material handling equipment.
