COMBILIFT ENTERS AUSTRALIA WITH ADAPT-A-LIFT

Adapt-A-Lift Rentals & Sales has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Irish companies Combilift Ltd and Aisle-Master Ltd to introduce their forklifts to the Australian market.
The addition of the two Irish innovators is an opportunity for Adapt-A-Lift, which has a 4000-strong fleet throughout Australia, to significantly boost its business. Financial terms were not released.
Adapt-A-Lift national marketing coordinator Mark Pawsey said the Combilift was the world's first all-wheel-drive, engine-powered multi-directional forklift, able to operate indoors and outdoors, and would easily find its niche in the Australian market.
Aisle-Master's innovative range of narrow-aisle LPG forklifts, which were equally at home in very narrow aisles and competing with conventional forklifts in the yard, would also be a welcome addition to many companies' fleets in the Australian market, Mr Pawsey said.
