Keytroller, LLC is proud to be one of the sponsors for the upcoming US Open Forklift Rodeo and Safety Expo hosted by
The Higgins Group of Springfield, Ohio.
The US Open Forklift Rodeo expects to have participants not only from the US but also international competitors.
Keytroller has donated it's most popular forklift access-monitoring system as a prize for one of the winners. This safety device can be installed on any make or model forklift and prevents untrained operators from starting, eliminates the ignition key, schedules maintenance, automates the daily checklist , monitors reckless driving (speed and impact sensing) and logs all usage events. There are several models available for different applications and different budgets. All models can be wirelessly enabled for seamless programming or retrieval of event log data utilizing WiFi, Zigbee or Bluetooth radios.
The Higgins Group, a forklift safety training company, arranged for the rodeo site (the Clark County Fairgrounds in Springfield Ohio), the forklifts used in the competition, the competition's structure and course layout, the prizes, the food and all of the associated logistics. The sole purpose of the
US OPEN Rodeo is to "promote, in a fun & competitive environment, the safe & efficient operation of powered industrial trucks" in harmony with the OSHA Standard CFR 1910.178, "Powered Industrial Trucks." If you think your drivers are the best---reward them---get involved!! You can apply on line to enter the US Open Rodeo at:

It can be set up to automatically send emails to managers or mechanics alerting them about alarm conditions or PMs that are due. It is very affordable for most fleets at only $5 per month in the US for the cellular costs. Other plans are available worldwide.
