Very stiff plugging when traveling power unit 1st direction and then plug. No problem when traveling forks first direction and then plug. The problem is not: Sevcon controller, dist. panel, F/W contactor, fwd/rev contactor or travel pot. Any suggestions besides an old priest, a young priest and some holy water???

are all the poles on the drive motors good and tight, and no shorts to frame after trying to drive then plug, in the power unit first direction?

Yes...even swapped drive motors just to make sure. I'm reasonably sure its a power cable issue. They of course check ok, but that doesn't mean anything under a load. I really hate to just throw parts at it like this but unfortunately that's where I'm at now.

there really should not be anyway that a power cable has anything to do with directional related changes, as the power goes through the same cables in both directions.
