I have my tech working on a Linde H35T with an IMPCO propane system on it. There is a solenoid next to the regulator that is emitting a loud clattering noise. It appears to be part of the emissions system and when disconnected the clattering stops but the engine also runs poorly. Any suggestions?

If this solinoid is blue in color with a domed component piped next to it and two wires attached to it, this is the electric fuel shut off. If this is the case, the engine should have stopped running after approx 60 sec. and you are need to look at an LPG leak at the valve.

If it is this gas shut off valve then they have been modified, ring Linde with the truck serial number & get the latest part number.

Had to change one last month on a H40, comes as one big lump ready to bolt straight on & there surprisingly cheap as well.

The Impco filter kits for these units are really cheap to.

Thanks guys, My tech was able to rebuild the regulator and the chattering has stopped. The fuel is flowing but now the truck seems to be in limp mode. It is showing code T248 and T235.
