Any one out there familiar with this brand of machine, during lowering of load the rate is too fast that at times it bangs the ground with force lot of force , you may give  a clue as to where to start, thanks

Hi Henry
There are two sensors on the boom support at the rear of the machine along with a plate that is bolted to the outer boom section, the sensors read the position of the boom, one is sensor S22 which is the top sensor is used for damping the boom both up and down, i would have a look at this sensor and the plate which it reads off first, check the connections to the sensor as well. please let me know if you find anything wrong.

Hi Ian, sure i did look at both sensors and the result was positive, both sensors had got  damaged  as a result of swaying of the boom as my machine works on rough terrain.I changed both and all was ok .THANKS, nice to share ideas with you,
Henry.

Hi Ian the lights are coming on very well, this being npn sensors i have throughly checked them out against others and they seem to be fine so that is what is puzzling me, checked all possible angles too. Will be glad to hear from you.

Hi Henry, as the sensors are working correctly i would look at the wiring harness from the rear of the boom to the ECU as well as the connectors inbetween thesensors and the ECU, i hope this helps. Best regards Ian

Hi guys ,all that you talking about, i have gone through,so what i did was to reduce the rate of lowering speed by employing a resistor in circuit,  got my self several resistors  and came to an acceptable speed , hope i will not be sued by kalmar for  redesigning there machine.

Hi Henry!
It is already 1 year late, but I would to ask:)
Did you try to calibrate this sensor through KDU menu in the cabin?
I think it was a reason.
BR, Evgeny
