I have a Manitou MT 732 telehandler. It has Turner transmission with Sach clutch with torque converter.

According to the repair manual the oil should be SAE 10W 30 GL 4. It is difficult to find those kind of oil in Indonesia.

Can I replace the SAE 10W 30 GL 4 with ordinary automotive ATF?

Have anybody ever tried it?

yes you can use ATF oil. The transmission manufacturer recommends a number of oils that can be used, ATF is one of them.
