bit of info pls there is a card behind a plate on bulk head do the pots on that control the function speeds? weve only got slow lift

On these units the control speed is given by the hydraulic control valve. You have to check if your hyd pump is defective or your control valve is clogged.

JIM assuming the battery is fully charged the battery indicator may be faulty, even if it shows batt ok . dicconnect it and see what happens
