It cannot be done without complete disassembly. It's a difficult job and I recommend two people.

Hi Crownie,

I don't know if you can help, we have a Crown Wav50-118 which required new lift chains & mast wiring loom. We are having problems fitting the new chains/wiring loom as they are enclosed in mast. Any ideas on the best way around it please?

Favourite I have on them machines is the gate switches adjust themselves. try them along with foot switches and the sockets on top of charger drop down tray

I guess you mean last three digits and that will be service code 7- SRO (static return to off).
That basically means that you have tried to operate the machine without your hands and feet in place.

I've suggested that you check the hand sensors.
If you did, you should check the feet sensors (micro switches on the floor board). When you step on them with both feet the strobe lights should start blinking (beware! Users are sometimes annoyed by them so they disconnect them). Try to check this...

Regards!

Did you put the switch on the control panel to "DRIVE"?
Did you put the switch on the control panel to "PLATFORM"?

Check the hand sensor. Does the wrench light go off when you put your hands on the commands?

I have an issue on Crown WAV50-84, it wont move or lift. Contact lights are on, charging and horn are working. Diagnostics shows an Static return to off activated (SRO). Checked steer and power potenciometers and they are fine. Tried to replace both hand controls and still same malfunction

assuming the transformer mounts are secure
the charger will need to be rebuilt/replaced
not unusual with the original style chargers
have changed a few but never bothered to rebuild them myself
