An operator brings in a Clark diesel CMP70D that has lost it's brakes. I check for leaks at the wheels cylinders--no. I say, "Self, could it be the master cylinder/brake booster AGAIN?? The second in 2 years!!!". I decided to make certain as they cost $1900. So I called the dealer who sent a tech who said bad brake booster. So I spent 5 hours changing the brake booster. When I got ready to lift the carriage to bleed the brakes and lo and behold the starter quits working. I jack with it until I get it started, bleed the brakes...and still no brakes. I spent the next day in research and order an aux pump which the dealer doesn't have in stock BUT they do have the starter. So, I pick up the starter and return to paradise. After busting knuckles and wrenching a shoulder I get the starter changed out only to find that when I attempt to connect the wiring the rear post is broken internally and can't be tightened down. So, now I've got to pull it back off and make another trip to the dealer. The next person that calls me "Easy Money" I will punch in the face....HR be damned. It's time for a Wild Turkey...straight up.

Ain't nothing I can't fix but a broken heart and the break of day!

I do work at this place that is so loud, if you don't have ear plugs jammed in your ears, you will definately go deaf quickly. You literally have trouble talking to someone face to face. So, when things go wrong you can spew forth the most horrible curse words at the top of your lungs and no one knows. It's great.
