Aichi Industrial Tyres are made in Japan. They are a 2 compound Solid Tyre, and are a very good quality product.
However, if you park a Lift Truck for an extended period after high use , and the tyre has generated considerable heat build up, the Aichi Tyre will develop a flat spot. Over a period of time, this flat spot will become so bad, it will not wear out as the tyre builds up heat again after cooling down.
The best type of Tyre is a Resilient Tyre with a 3 compound construction. That is a rigid base rubber reinforced with a steel cage, a softer center section of rubber to give a cushioning ride, and a tread rubber to give a long tyre life.
I would not recommend fitting Aichi Tyres to any application involving high use, extended loaded runs, and close to capicty load. They are a nice tyre in low use, small factories or warehouse applications.

There are a couple of good factories in Sri Lanka, Eu-retec, which manufacturers for Watts Tyres and Continental. Another factory is the Trelleborg factory and also solideal factory. These would be the best of the best.........
