By the way, I do not understand why the manufacturer doesn't release his nearly 20 years old design.

STILL GmbH, come one, put your 20-year-old stuff on the Internet!!

Hi...I have a bit of experience on these trucks. I take it that it has just 2 PCB,s...a power board & a logic board, also you don,t say if it diesel or gas & what size is IT?

Hi gary. The nameplate says TFG 2.5/7019, the service manual says R70-25T. It runs on LPG. You are correct it has a logic and a power board. I have the drawing on the electric wiring from the yellow service manual.
I am looking for the diagrams of the logic and power board and if possible an explanation on the purpose of measuring points on the boards.
Thanks

Hi gert,

I used the wiring diagram from the service manual. Eventually i replaced all elco's from the control circuit board and one cracked resistor. To my surprise the circuit board worked then i found out that the power board was damaged also. All the power transistors were removed and compared. One proofed to be damaged, this one was replace by a equivalent transistor bought at Conrad electronics. This solved the problem.

Send your email address and i will forward the drawings and pictures.  By the way if you look carefully at your circuit board you may find components that have changed colour. These parts have been hot for a longer period of time, replace them and you may get lucky. I may take you several hours in the sun before you spot these parts.
Regards,
Gerrit

I have found a manual the has 28 pages that talk only about the test points and functions on the u200 and e36 boards.
The individual pins on the connectors are discussed one by one in the trouble shooting section.
The earlier service manauls did not have this info, but the later manual written for a later truck, has to be used with a pinch of salt. Essentially the design has stayed the same but there were efforts to improve from one generation of truck to another

Are you able to open your emailed manual on another computer? Still has locked these manuals  that unlock "only" with Still software Steds. even Adobe Pro can't open them. Adobe will say it is Distilling for 30 minutes but at the end it give a quick report it was unable to read the file.
I have a software from Nuance that unlocks them.
in a round about way.

The manuals will open with acrobat. They are encrypted so that the only thing that you can do is read or print them.

I have tried to send the manual to wilson c but got a e-mail today of hotmail delivery failure

Alan
Sorry i forgot the 100 its on its way

i have a fed x acct that could be used for any deliveries, and will pay a fee ,advise
also alan, i have a design that i used on my truck a dfg 2.5 /7003 that has had the new style u36 and u200 boards installed that had no traction.(us army appears to have had installed ) so to prove i had a good generator and drive motor i used spdt relays to operate the unit. i would how ever like to proceed with re-installing and troubleshooting the still control boards,so its either chase every wire to its control device or get a diagram thats legible, thanks for any help.
also anyone who needs the design i am using is welcome to it.(its at least low cost,i used the 12v relays from a mercedes 123 car)
