well im having an issue where you drop it into gear and it dies
you put a load on with the hydraulics it dies

the spark looks good
the fuel pressure is good (1.5 lbs)

i think it was converted from gasoline
it has a CA50 carb
i have the diaphragm coming in for it

the vacuum reads a lil low and its jumping a little (1 or 2" either way)
this could indicate a problem in the valve train rings or a few other things
i thought this engine has hydraulic lifters
but i dont have anything on that either for this (specs)

I had a problem like this about 10 years ago...... had me very confused...........good spark, good fuel, and good compression. Replaced the ignition coil with and OEM Distributor Coil. Ran Awesome. Suspect the coil was breaking down under load. Let me know

They do have adjustable valves, .015" hot for ex. and in.

brake servo fault will give hard pedal and/or a steady drop in idle rpm with pedal depressed, if in doubt plug the line...

is the LPG system equipped with feedback? ie vacuum line running from mixer to vacuum solenoid and to atmospheric vent on vaporizer?

in case running the valves doesnt clear it up, also my first guess...

they also have a throttle kicker which bumps the throttle when vacuum drops (ie heavy load at idle) set idle between 7-800RPM and unplug vac. line on kicker and screw it down to 1250-1300RPM, reattach and verify idle drops back down...

if it bags at full throttle try opening up the power valve a bit (7/16 wrench you will see an oval-shaped pointer inline with the vapor port on the mixer, it opens a shutter)

sometimes people lean the truck out for e-test without bothering to see how the truck runs afterward...

lastly set timing to 9-10BTDC

good luck~
