Hello, anyone know where we can purchase a handheld for the new Hysters to carry out fault diagnostics and re-set error codes etc, etc?

Ha!

Don't tell me you just go through the diagnostics using the bloody dash display??!!

I've got one of our salesmen telling me he's got a potential customer wanting us to look after his kit but he's a little reluctant to push the work our way as he's been told by Barlows that you've got to have a programmable handset to re-set error codes etc, etc.

Looks like I'll have to go down and see this guy to get to the bottom of it.

You need pc service tool to get into dash if the code is changed from 5555 make sure someone didnt change it before you quote work.Some codes dont show on display some do.If you have a code you can fix problem and code wont show but its still logged.90% can be done through dash if its open.

There is no hand held for the FT models.
Hyster is using a computer program as handler we have only the possibility adjust and remove the error code trough the display.
Best to do enter the password as notice go to fault log, select fault log clear, and press enter on the display.
If you have repair the FT always clear the fault log before you start up otherwise the truck will hold the error and will not start up.
