Hi everyone, I need some help.  I am trying to change the default password to get into the set up menu, it's currently set to the default password of 5555.  My boss thinks I can change this password through the dash settings, I don't beleive you can.  You can only change the operators password through the dash, this customer doesn't use the operators password.

I am working on a Yale Electric 48V, model ERC050GHN48TQ084.  These units are equipped with the premium display panel.

I have the isCAN USB interface dongle with an ifak systems logo on it.  I don't have any software....yet.  The software's expensive and a pain to send to me so its been delayed several months and could easily take a few more.

Any ideas on how I can change the default setup password from 55555?  The lift truck drivers go into the dash and mess with the speeds and pump values.  Thanks for any help, Bill H.

Well I did try to add a password, then change it, and it works for the operators password but thats not what i'm looking for.  Adding and changing a password in the dash settings only affects the operators password, I'm looking to change the setup password set to default 55555.

I'm hoping to get the yale software from my employer but its taking a while and will probably take a few more months.  I haven't heard anything good about it.

Go into the password on dash ,then add, then type in a password ,it will want to know what kind, then scroll to service ,then save then turn off truck. The password you add overrides the default password.
