I figure most of us were searching on Google or Yahoo (or some search engine) for something forklift related, when we found this site. were you? what were you searching for that brought you here? I know I was hoping for information about a competitor's product I was having to service. I would love to hear how everyone found their way here.

Interesting question, and I'm sure people will (eventually!) respond with some funny stories. From my experience, the overwhelming majority of Forkliftaction.com-ites found the site through colleagues forwarding on the free newsletter.

browsing thru the net then I found you, great, wonderful, interesting personnel you have out there, I even got a call from a Rodger from Australia, believe it or not it was 3:30 a.m. his time when he called I am in San Juan Puerto Rico - it is amazing how enthused this gentleman was at that time of a.m. I sure would not be happy - but all in all it was great talking to Crocodile Dundee

When I started working at TASK Australia (3 months ago) my boss asked me to sign up. It's been very good because I have never worked in the forklift industry and because I'm doing Marketing/Advertising I had to learn very fast all about what was what. Forklift Action really helped me learn because they put an interesting spin on everything! Then I was lucky enough to talk to Daphne Hanemen and she wrote some fantastic features on our company I think 2 newsletters ago. =) Forklift Action has definitely helped me learn fast.

Hi Etharp,

Forgot about this thread until I chanced upon it again while searching for my posts.  Haha...didn't know I actually posted this message about chatting with gals.  That was a joke of course.

But I certainly am glad to have made acquaintance with some of you guys here.  My only grouse is that, responses do seem a little slow, considering this is a global forum and there should be hundreds of people reading that log onto this website.
