Hi,  hoping someone can offer a little knowledge. I recently had to change an orbitrol steering valve on a 335 E14. It was of the earlier ZF Hydraulik Nord type. The first recon unit I fitted leaked worse than the original so got sent back. Having fitted the next unit, which doesn't leak,I am now left with problems..being:
Steering heavy and lift/tilt functions only operating on full steer. The recon unit we received was slightly different in the centre port was smaller than the original. I had to have a pipe made up to get round this and the new pipe is a slightly bigger diameter than the original although the bore of the adaptor is 1mm smaller than the original.
Has anyone come across this problem before?..are the 'Nord' orbitrol and priority valves matched pairs?

Thanks in advance for all help offered.
