CURTIS CONTROLLER

Dear,All Forklift expertise

any one have advise where i have to find CURTIS PMC with old Model 1243-4207 and 1243 - 4201?

because i have tried to search in CURTIS China there is no Stock for this old parts.

please advice...

hi ridwan what do u need for curtis 1243 .sepex controllers. this 24v unit is fitted to many diff brands some of which are programed for that brand . take bt for example

Pls advise the below in-order for me to get the correct parts:
1  battery voltage
2  amp needed
3  trottle type  0~5k ohm or 5k~0 ohm

i believe that you can replace either of those with any other control with a part number 1243-42xx, as long as you have programmer (handset or laptop tool) and the manual to set the parameters up the last 2 digits are for the setup i believe

any1 confirm this?

before i would say thank you for all of your advise,i have get the 1243-4201 and i have replace it with 4220.

now the last proble is for 1243-4207.it cannot be replace by 4220.iam still search for this last item.

the detail is:

1243-4207
Voltage 24 - 36
200-350 A

ridwan to you have a programmer?
what is the flash code you have when you use the 4220?

yours is a 200 amp 24-36v

1243-42xx means its a 200 amp 24-36v control
a 1243-43xx is a 300 amp 24-36
1243-52xx is a 250 amp 36-48v

check out curtis's website they have manuals and data sheets - curtisinst DOT com

Dear all, I've 3.0 Ton's Forklift made from china by Hangcha, come with CURTIS SEPEX 1244-6651 PMC controller, some day ago got 3,3 PRECHARGE FAULT CODE then from Curtis technitian they ask me to do as follow :
The pre-charge fault is usually caused by something holding down the B+ line.

Check to see if there is any short from the B+ line to the frame or to B-.

Disconnect the B+ connection to the motor to determine if the motor is causing this.

... I did these check point and did not found any short or leakage from these cables with the chassis body even B+ cable from motor..??, if any body has before some problem like this please tell me , is any thing else I can certifield better what is my forklift controller problem before BUY a NEW ONE.. Tnak's a lot .
