Both are very good lifts. Some would say Toyota is going in the wrong direction recently but I'm not sure I agree with that at this time.Hyster and Yale are produced by the same manufacturer now,but I am told different grades of components are installed on the assembly line.Just out of curiosity, why are you trading in a lift with such low hours on it?

Toyota makes a good truck. They have some uniqueness to them making them different from the rest of the crowd. Toyota parts are NOT cheap, but availablilty is usually good. The Toyota dealer in my area flat out stinks. (And I have a relative working there to boot!) Hopefully your local dealer will be better equiped to service your truck after the sale.

I would prefer a different make of lift myself, but I base my choice on two things: quality of the truck and ease of service.

I think the Toyota would be a fine purchase and the parts availability is good in my area.If price is the main concern you will find other brands that cost less with various levels of parts availability and cost.Hyster parts can be somewhat high at times, but so are all of them. Most dealers can demo a lift also.I know I would love a trade-in in your Hyster's condition so you have a bargaining chip there.Your operaters look at different things than you do.Ergonomics(ease of operation and comfort, visibility, speed, noise level, coffee cup holders, etc.) are most important to them.
If you don't use the lift that much, maybe one of the lesser priced alternatives would be a good match for you.

I think that you should consider buying the Toyota brand, technically and the after sales support is really good compared to Hyster and TCM

I think that the amount is justified, in long terms you may even surpass it through maintenance savings. Toyota people can help you save cost.

Well Toyota makes fine products. The previous
model was a 5fbe & it was great. The 7 series is still fairly new so the jury is still out.So far so good.Keep in mind the length of time it was produced. If it's not broke don't fix it.Can't go wrong with a Toyota.
