I've searched throught the archives and it seems no one makes universal software for scanning forklifts. With all these lift trucks coming out with fly by wire what are all the non dealer guys going to do? I came from an automotive background so all my scan tool software could be used on almost all makes. Even cummins will sell you diagnostic software for their engines. Is there anything out there right now or are there any plans for anyone to bring something out to make diagnosis easier?

Most all of us wish for a fits all software that works on one the same as the others.I have 4 for Cat/Mit alone.None the same some better or worse that the other.I have seen some others Smart set ,Dash display,Hytec.Point is they are all diffrent and if you had them all, could you use them? Most of this will screw up a truck as fast as it will fix one.Unless the goverment steps in and dose like they did on the automotive feild i dont think you will ever see universal software.Ecu data not the same for all makes. But if you have the repair manual for the truck you are working on you can do some dia work be it cat ,nissan, yale,or what have you.
