Battery Compartment size Komatsu Walkie Jack

Hello fellow forklift guys/gals. I located a customer with a walk behind electric pallet jack made (?) by Komatsu,
alledged model/serial ML22, MW2719345006. The unit came with a 24 volt gel cell battery pack---and of course gel cells are neat until they sh*t the bed. Does anyone have access to the deminsions so I can offer them a battery tray with wet 6 volt wet batteries and on board 110 charger? Ot at lease another gel cell pack that doesn't come with OEM pricing? If not I can travel out of town with my tape measure to determine.

Depending on battery type you might pull the batts out and replace and leave frame and charger alone.I have replaced sevral.Parts comes up with 6v gell batts.

FYI the MWL22 was made by Prive-Mover for Komatsu. Same unit different paint & decals. Prime-Mover provided the same unit to Clark, Kalmar AC. I am certain one of those dealers will help you out. If your are near Dallas - try Sunbelt Industrial Trucks.

The battery comparments are all the same size.

True that is made by BT/Prime Mover and is sold to all major brand names, complete with their color of paint. Do your batteries stand on their side and are made by champion? if so a group 26 12 volt gel cell is what i use to rebuild the pack. just wire them in series- parallel, instead of series to 24vdc. and you don't even have to stand them on their side. just straighten out the bracket that goes down the center vertically..
