I have recentently recived some new Toyota trucks, 7FGU70.
They all are setting codes 1151 and 1172. One also is seting a 9999 code that is not even listed in the service manual. These are new trucks setting codes with in 20 hrs of use. One had less than 1 hour on the machine. These are GM 4.3 engines with Tier 3 systems made by IMPCO

As of today we have finally been able to duplicate the codes. The problem was always reported after check engine light had gone off. We could not get it to set as an active code. They were always being set during low fuel (LPG) conditions on the trucks. We had tried turning off the fuel tanks and ran the trucks until they would shut down and could not get the codes to set.

After three days of doing this, the only thing I could come up with was that the code were setting while driving the trucks at the time and putting a load on the engine. We started the truck turned the tank off and ran the truck while operating the tilt function to place a load on the engine. After a few min the code set as an active code. When we stop operating the tilt function the code went inactive.

Now that we have an idea of what conditions cause the light to come now it comes down to is there anything that can keep this from happening.
