Sling safety and fall prevention

The upcoming safety program hosted by Lift-It Manufacturing promises to be one of the most extensive, ever offered.  The two day seminar will feature three speakers with individual topic areas to help reduce risk exposure, contribute to more efficient operations and the identification of potential hazards common to the rigging and material handling industry.

Day One- features the synthetic sling safety program, presented by Mike Gelskey, president of Lift-It Manufacturing.  A Sling User class as well as a sling inspector class will take place.  In addition a tour of the Lift-It production facility, featuring fabrication and testing demonstrations will also be provided.

Day Two- features the sling and rigging class, presented by Don Pellow, Pellow and Associates.   It will feature inspection and removal from service criteria for chain and wire rope slings.  The fall prevention training will be conducted by Keith Henderson.  The session will also feature inspection and product demonstrations. Both presenters are extremely knowledgeable with years of experience in their respective areas of expertise.

You may also register for the Spring 2005 conference.  It will be held in Los Angeles on March 9th and 10th, 2005.
