Scana Booforge, one of the world leading manufacturer of large and customized fork arms for heavy forklift trucks, has more than 60 years of experience of manufacturing forks.
Some unique features have been developed throughout the years. To mention:- Own designed steel alloys, RO651 and HRO774, for optimal material feature for large fork arm designs
- A unique competence in forging the almost impossible designs, just to create a fork for its particular lifting task.
- A new State of the Art Production line for large fork arms
- A comprehensive and accurate heat treatment method in an own highly certified heat treatment centre.
Today, Scana Booforge is focusing in the heavier segment with fork sizes that are geared to forklifts exceeding 8 metric ton in capacity. This focus assures the design and quality which a large fork requires in order to withstand the heavy wear and tear of an i.e. 18 or 28 metric ton truck.
Scana Booforge supplies fork arms to Kalmar, Konecrane, Svetruck, Fantuzzi. Also to Linde HTD and Hyster in both standard and special designs.
