Nichiyu Mini-Series, a Complete Forklift in a Small Package
8 Apr 2010
Nichiyu’s electric counterbalanced truck Mini-series with load capacities of 0.5, 0.7, and 0.9 tonne combine exceptional maneuverability and powerful performance, making them ideal for materials handling in the limited spaces including storehouses of supermarkets, retail shops or small warehouses.
The model with load capacity of 0.5 has a minimum turning radius of only 1200 mm, despite of its long wheelbase. The secret of this tight turning is the dual front drive motors. At sharp steering angles, both front wheels turns in opposite directions to cause a pivot turn. Weighing only 990kg, it can even ride an elevator and work on upper floors.
