T191KND Spreader Kaup
Attachments - Forklift and crane - World
KAUP Spreaders are usually designed to meet the special requirements of each individual customer. Whether for operation on a forklift truck, on a gantry crane in harbours or on board container ships KAUP has a wide spectrum of Spreaders on offer. Fixed-frame Spreaders are non-telescopic spreaders which handle all standard sizes of containers by mobile harbour crane. Fixed-frame Spreaders are standardly equipped with level compensation and 6 flippers. Telescopic Spreaders telescope to adapt from 20’ up to 48’ containers. Starting from the 20’ position every required telescopic extension is controlled precisely by cylinder stops. Difference in width between ISO and Sealand containers is accommodated by telescopic end beams. During pick up the container is secured by 4 corner flippers (mobile harbour crane container spreaders have 6 flippers) which fasten on to the lifting hooks. As the container is lifted a sturdy sensing pin engages in a locking disk to prevent the spreader from unlocking, whether intentionally or unintentionally. Four proximity switches on the sensing pins signal the operator when the spreader is properly seated on the container. When a hydraulic telescopic spreader is not necessarily economical i.e. when containers account for a relatively small proportion of the cargo handling workload a Manual Telescopic Spreader can be used. Telescoping to the required container length is achieved manually with a rack and pinion mechanism. The twistlocks are manually locked pair wise with mechanical linkage. Options: telescope, rotation, level compensation, slewing gear, emergency lifting hooks

Options: slip on fork version, carriage mounted or hydraulically powered.
T252 Double Sideshifter Kaup
Attachments - Forklift and crane - World
Multiple Sideshifting Devices A common method of achieving higher efficiency of forklift trucks is to transport a multiple number of pallets or unit loads on one run. Multiple Sideshifters are capable of handling two, three or four pallets at once, often double deep (i.e. up to 8 pallets) and are often encountered in brickworks. KAUP Multi Sideshifters have a basic sideshift, where the whole load can be shifted left and right. The two, three or four additional fork carriages are either simultaneously or individually, hydraulically adjustable. Consequently this allows changing of the distance between the pallets and moving together or apart of the units. The Multiple Sideshifter should only be applied where always the exact number of transport units will be picked up otherwise the load would be off centre. Adjustment: either individual movement via solenoid valves or simultaneous movement of the front carriages via Flow Dividers. Options: Load Backrests for the front fork carriages, quick release bottom hooks. Quadruple Sideshifting Device for 8 pallets.

T451WA Turnover Clamp Pusher Kaup
Attachments - Forklift and crane - World
De-palletising of bagged goods is the typical application of this attachments. Pallet Turnover Clamps with Pusher are put into operation when loads have to be transferred from a high-grade production pallet to a cheaper transport pallet (one way pallet) or slip sheet, directly loaded onto lorries or railway wagons. The palletized goods are picked up with the forks, clamped and turned 180°. When the clamp opens the load lies on the carrying plate(s) and is hydraulically pushed off, with the help of the pushing grate, onto the transport pallet or directly on to the lorry platform or railway wagon. All dimensions and parameters of this attachment have to be selected carefully according to load. Options: Lateral supporting plates in fixed, mechanically adjustable or hydraulically adjustable versions, sideshift function, quick release bottom hooks. Multi tines instead of carrying plates possible.
T453 Rotating Bale Clamp Kaup
Attachments - Forklift and crane - World

T458 Rotating Roll Clamp Kaup
Attachments - Forklift and crane - World
Rotating Roll Clamp – swinging arm type- continuous long arm – movable short arm. Usually in the swinging arm type the long and short arm are hydraulically movable – the long arm to grab the roll, the short arm in order to adjust it to other (smaller) roll diameters. (Only moveable when the rotator is brought to the 45° position
T458C-2 Rotating Roll Clamp Kaup
Attachments - Forklift and crane - World
Rotating Roll Clamp – swinging arm type - split contact pads on long arm. All rotating roll clamps of swinging arm type can be equipped with a split long arm. -2 indicates that the long arm is split. This means it can adjust itself if you take up two rolls with different diameters at the same time. Each of the long split arms has a cylinder inside, which allow the rolls of different diameters to be clamped individually and safely.
T458P Rotating Roll Clamp Kaup
Attachments - Forklift and crane - World
P indicates parallel guided clamp (has a clamp body with T and C profiles like any other lateral clamp). The parallel guided Rotating Roll Clamp could be considered the mother of roll clamps. It is just a combination of a rotator and a lateral roll clamp. Generally it is considered old fashioned because the clamp body is usually wider than the rotator and therefore could hit rolls aside or other obstacles, performs difficultly in small areas, such as containers and features a higher weight compared to the up to date swinging arm type clamps. Its existence is still justified because the efficiency of bringing cylinder force to the loads is optimal and the slender straight arms allow entry to closely stacked rolls and chimney stacked rolls. This design would also be used for very high load weights such as big coils, pipelines or cement tubes.
T466 Fork Positioner Kaup
Attachments - Forklift and crane - World
Fork Positioner Type T 466 (medium duty) Extremely variable concept with a total of four different versions.
