Shanghai, China, October, 2009 – At an award ceremony in Shanghai, China in October, The China Industrial Truck Association (CITA) recognized the significant impact Cascade Corporation has played in the development of the forklift industry in China. The China Lift Truck Association presented Mr. Bob Warren, President of Cascade Corporation, with a “Lifetime Contribution” Award. This was the first time since its foundation that CITA has bestowed top honors to those individuals who made such notable contributions to the development and improvement of the Chinese forklift industry.

This allows Cascade to ship product from any manufacturing location to any end user around the world. Steve Wittkop, Technical Publication Manager developed the new global nameplate to assist relaying technical information in a format understandable worldwide.

PORTLAND, Oregon-USA – In its quest to remain at the top of the materials handling industry, Cascade Corporation has introduced a Radio Frequency Hydraulic Control ( RFHC) option for their Mark 55 Push/Pull. The Mark 55 Push/Pull is the solution for operations that must handle both slipsheeted and palletized product. Hydraulically positionable outer platens are easily opened for conventional slipsheet handling and closed to allow pallet handling. In addition, the Mark 55 Push/Pull allows 4-way handling of the popular Mark 55 block pallet.
