Cut costs, save space and improve productivity Aisle-Master VNA articulated forklifts can replace a combination of reach and counterbalance trucks for much more streamlined and productive operations in and around the warehouse. Their ability to work in very narrow confines enables working aisle widths to be cut to a minimum for optimum storage capacity and maximum pallet density in any given area. Versatile indoor and outdoor operation avoids time consuming double handling as pallets can be offloaded in the yard and taken directly to the racking in one operation.
A pioneer of LPG power in articulated trucks when it first launched its range eleven years ago, Aisle-Master incorporated AC technology as standard into its electric models in 2007 and the range enjoys a reputation for unrivalled reliability in the articulated sector. The trucks can work in aisles of just 1.75m, have capacities of up to 2.5 tonnes and lift heights of up to 12.5 metres.
Aisle-Master is now fully incorporated into Combilift’s portfolio and since production moved to a dedicated line at the Monaghan HQ in Ireland last year, significant product development has taken place. New models include the narrow chassis 15E, with 1.5t capacity and a chassis width of just 1000mm compared to 1220mm of the standard version, designed for operation with lighter loads in very narrow confines. As well as the new warehouse safety yellow livery, the redesigned range includes a host of new features such as over articulation for a better degree of accuracy when operating in extremely narrow aisles, a new automotive style foot pedal layout and repositioned handbrake and hydraulic controls in the restyled cab.
As Aisle-Masters are designed and built from the ground up in Ireland, they can be customised to individual requirements. Aisle-Master design engineers also offer a site visit and warehouse layout service and supply free layout proposals illustrating how to maximise the use of available storage space.
